What history books often lack is the personal connection—stories that help students understand history through the lives of people who lived it. Two Nobles classes, History of the Human Community (HHC) and American Genocide in the 20th Century—recently welcomed several visitors who illuminated major historical and current events.

Congratulations to the Nobles chess team for winning the South Shore Interscholastic Chess League (SSICL) title. The team was undefeated in interscholastic play this year, and will share the league trophy with Roxbury Latin until next winter. (Both teams finished the season with 8-0-1 records and were named co-champions.)

Executive chef Mike Ryan was awarded Manager of the Year for Flik NE Region; Jacob Martin was named the Associate of the Year for the NE Region; and Director of Dining Services Matthew Burek received the President's Award.

Congrats, NTC Cast and Crew

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the winter mainstage play, “Pink Floyd’s THE WALL Reimagined.” More than 50 members of the Nobles community including students, graduates and faculty were involved in the making of this production. This was the Nobles Theatre Collective’s first drama and rock concert combination. The show ran from Feb. 20-23, 2013.
