About Noble and Greenough
A school is the sum of many parts—its classroom buildings, its playing fields, its library and lunchroom. It is the sum of its curriculum, its college counseling, its visual arts and music and theatre, its sports contests, its community service and its annual traditions—from orientation to graduation. But most of all a school reflects the people who live its mission day in and day out—its students, its administrators and teachers, its coaches and staff members, its families, its trustees and its graduates. At Noble and Greenough School, we endeavor to weave all the parts of our community into a vibrant whole. We’ve been doing it since 1866, and as our 150th birthday gets closer we think we continue to reflect the intellectual ideals of our founders as well as the latest approaches to learning and living in the community we call Nobles.
