"My favorite place on campus is coming upstream through the Bridge Street bridge when the sun is shining directly through the arch and the crews are climbing into the sun, backlighted and brilliant, splashes flashing, the water twisted by the current."

– Peter Raymond, English Faculty

Our Campus

Nobles' 187-acre campus is just 10 miles from Boston, located in Dedham, Massachusetts. A dedicated Buildings and Grounds Department maintains the grounds and facilities, including 340,000 square feet of building space, 29 faculty residences and 2.5 miles of roads and walkways.

Everyone has a "favorite space" on campus—whether it's the built-in benches, known as the Alcoves, in the Shattuck Schoolhouse, the comfortable common room in Wiggins Dormitory or the Putnam Library stacks. There is a nook and cranny for every disposition, but the Castle's appeal is universal. This landmark building is where the entire community comes together to share meals each day. Construction is underway on the Castle to expand the kitchen and dining areas, with plans to unveil in Fall 2012.

Many faculty, staff and students consider Nobles a "home away from home," so we take great pride in our campus. We would love to show you around; contact the Admission Office to schedule a tour!
