On Marathon Monday, April 16, all members of the community are invited to cheer on the Nobles Marathon Fund Team. Turf Field Slated for Fall '12

Nobles will have a synthetic turf field before the fall athletic season begins in September 2012.
Turf has become the standard playing surface for field hockey, and the new field will allow Nobles to host tournament play in that sport. The field will also extend practice and play time for boys and girls lacrosse and allow various teams to practice in all weather conditions.

Nobles was fortunate to have some remarkable success during the Winter NEPSAC Tournaments March 2-3. Three teams, boys' and girls' varsity hockey and girls' varsity basketball, showed remarkable talent and sportsmanship. All three teams are incredibly appreciative of the support given to them by their families and the entire Nobles community.

Winter Season Success

Nobles Athletics has once again achieved enormous success this winter. Three teams ended the season as ISL Champions: girls skiing won their ninth title in the last 10 years; girls basketball won their ninth consecutive ISL title; and girls hockey won their twelth consecutive ISL Championship.

Game of the Season
NOBLES VS. COTTING Jan 6, 2012
It's hard to predict the season's highlight before most of the games have been played, but the girls' varsity basketball team knows that nothing can top the annual Nobles vs. Cotting School friendly game, played on Fri., Jan. 6. This year marks the fifth match-up between Noble and Greenough and Cotting, a private special education day school in Lexington, Mass.

Frozen Fenway
BOYS VARSITY HOCKEY Jan 5, 2012
The only thing better than the sound of "Sweet Caroline" at Fenway Park was the sound of Noble and Greenough School fans cheering on the boys' varsity hockey team as they took on—and beat—rival Milton Academy. The teams faced off for the first time this season at Frozen Fenway 2012 during a quadrupleheader of Independent School League's boys' and girls' games.

On Friday, Oct. 14, Burr Field lit up with high-spirited fans for the first-ever Friday night football game against ISL rivalry Thayer Academy. Rain didn’t deter a vibrant crowd of supporters—sporting blue and white—from cheering on the Bulldogs. A tailgate party with music and food kicked off the event and also raised money for the Nobles travel program.
