Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in?

Once you download the app, you will need to enter your email and address and your name and credentials will be verified in order to gain access. You will then receive an email with further instructions. If your email address is not accepted, please contact Graduate Affairs to reconcile your email address. Note: After initially logging in, your information will be saved and you will not be required to log in again.

What personal information will be available for alumni to see and can I edit or hide my information?

The information on the Nobles Graduate App is identical to the information in the Graduate Directory. Unless you have previously modified your personal preferences in the Graduate Directory, the following contact information will display: Name, Street Address, City, State, Country, Phone Number, Email address, Education, and Employment. 

Using the directory: Can I view a list of my classmates?

Yes, simply enter your class year in the search field of the directory. Full class lists are displayed, including deceased. Class lists cannot be printed for security reasons. 

Can I e-mail or call another alum directly from the app?

Yes. While in the directory, tap the e-mail address of the graduate you wish to contact and your e-mail provider will generate a message. If you click the phone number, your phone will dial the number. 

How do I connect the app with my LinkedIn account?

The latest update of the app enables all grads to directly connect and network using LinkedIn. When using the mobile app, you are able to connect your personal LinkedIn account with the directory by clicking the yellow "Login to LinkedIn for enhanced profiles" button. Once you are logged in, you can view information that grads have chosen to include on their personal LinkedIn profiles along with the number of connections you have in common. You can directly connect with other Nobles graduates by clicking the yellow LinkedIn button to add or invite grads to LinkedIn. Any information that is provided by LinkedIn will appear on the profile screen with the LinkedIn icon to the right. Don't forget to list Nobles in your education and connect with our Noble and Greenough Graduates LinkedIn Group. 

When using the Nearby tool wtih the map, how do I locate grads in another location outside of my current location?

Click the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner of the map. This will allow you to enter a specific town, state, country, or address to search. Zoom out by pinching two fingers together on the screen and then trail on finger to the desired area on the map. A blue "N" shield will display representing the location of grads. 

Directory information is prepared solely for the use of Nobles alumni to contact one another. Information in the directory may not be used for commercial, charitable, political, or any purpose other than the convenience of the Nobles community. Sharing the directory information with any person or enterprise other than the members of the Nobles community is strictly prohibited.
