Middle School Afternoon Program
middle school g lax

Statement of Purpose:
The Noble and Greenough Afternoon Program is an integral part of the overall curriculum, expanding the classroom beyond the academic arena. Nobles students grow through such diverse experiences as athletics, artistic expression, and service to others. Through the Afternoon Program, Nobles seeks to inspire a lifelong commitment to health and wellness, to building community, and to educating the whole student, emphasizing the importance of team work and respect for self and others.

Afternoon Program Requirements
Nobles believes strongly in having all students develop a lifelong commitment to health and wellness. The achievement of that commitment can be realized through a variety of physical activities including interscholastic athletics and a range of health and wellness activities. To fulfill the Nobles requirements for physical activities, students may participate in interscholastic athletics as well as the health and wellness options offered. Nobles also recognizes that some students have deep and abiding interests in offerings not presented by Nobles; we may therefore allow Afternoon Program credit upon petition to the Afternoon Program Certification Committee.

Middle School students are requires to fully participate in three(3) Afternoon Program seasons, including two seasons of physical activity. Students may elect to be involved in three seasons of physical activity.
