The MS Book Club meets every other week in the Putnam Library, on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. The club promotes to its teen members reading for pleasure as well as developing both a good taste in reading selections and a lifelong interest in literature. We also strive to broaden our members’ reading interests and erudition through a discussion of literary classics and works by international authors in translation. Through active listening, tactful response and constructive expression of opinions we aim to cultivate the art and skills of meaningful conversation. In addition to discussing what we read, we try teas and chocolates from around the world. For meeting details, click here. -Go to top-Middle School a capella Contact Melissa Kassell

The Middle School Multicultural Student Association (MSMSA) provides a nurturing environment in which students can discuss issues of social justice while they explore their own identities. We seek to celebrate our diversity of experience and to educate our community as we work to create a safe environment for students of all backgrounds. Whenever possible, partnerships are sought with the Upper School Multicultural Student Association and the Middle School Community Service Club. MSMSA is open to all students.-Go to top-Middle School Service Committee Contact Maryanne MacDonald
The Middle School Service Board is made up of Middle School student volunteers, and meets bi-weekly. Anyone is welcome to participate, and students may attend as their workloads permit. The Board creates and implements community service activities on behalf of the Middle School community.
The success of this program relies on locating organizations which will help foster and nurture students' sense of social responsibility. If you know of any organization whose mission would provide our children with a meaningful experience, please let us know by e-mailing or calling Maryanne MacDonald, Middle School Administrative Assistant, 781-320-7201. If you are a current Nobles parent interested in volunteering with the Middle School Service Learning Program, call today.
