Introduction to Digital Literacy
NON-CREDIT COURSE:
REQUIRED FOR CLASS VI - one quarter, rotation.

This course builds the essential technology and problem-solving skills that students will use throughout their Nobles experience. The project-based curriculum teaches all Class VI students the various ways that we can use technology as a means of communicating, creating and sharing information. Students will also use social media like blogs and wikis for collaborative work, and various software applications for image making, visual programming and presentation. This media rich environment is designed to engage students in the use of technology in ways that are inclusive and accessible, while fostering enthusiasm and interest for information technology and media arts. As with technology in general, the course content will always be evolving to meet the needs of the students as members of the Nobles community and beyond. The skills developed in this class serve as a foundation for further exploration of information technology and media at Nobles.
