In the opening game of the Harrington Holiday Tournament, Nobles scored twice in the first period and twice in the second period on the way to a 5-0 win over St. Mark’s. Nobles set the tone on the first shift of the game when Jackie Young passed to her defense partner, Michelle Picard, inside the Nobles blueline, and Picard hit Denna Laing cutting across the neutral zone. Laing drove by the defender and beat the goalie with a wrist shot to the far side just 26 seconds into the game. Molly Parizeau also scored in the first period while Laing (her second goal) and Marissa Gedman added second period goals. Early in the third period, Alycia Racicot scored the first goal of her Nobles career, deking and roofing the puck on a breakaway. In goal for Nobles, Taylor Blake and Brianna Laing made a total of five saves for the shutout as Nobles improved to 3-1-1 overall.
