Nobles hosted Lawrence for their annual ISL matchup and prevailed 1-0 on a third period goal by MK Cruise. In a fast, physical, and penalty free game, both teams battled through two scoreless periods. Early in the third period, however, Courtney Carrabino corralled a loose puck in center ice and fed a nice backhand pass toward the left boards to Cruise, who carried over the blue line on a 2 on 1 break. As Cruise crossed the top of the face off circle, she snapped a wrist shot that beat the goalie to the short side of the net. In goal for Nobles, Taylor Blake made 15 saves for her ninth shutout as Nobles improved to 10-1-4 overall and 4-0-1 in the ISL.
