After a scoreless first period, Nobles scored twice early in the second period on the way to a 3-0 win over Cushing. The first goal started with a breakout pass from Michelle Picard to left wing Kaleigh FitzPatrick, who passed to MK Cruise at the Nobles blueline. Cruise beat her defender down the left side of the ice, drew another defender, and fed Lauren Fitzgerald for the goal. Minutes later, Caitlin Fai received a pass at the right point from Molly Parizeau and scored on a slap shot. Picard finished the scoring in the third period, skating the puck the length of the ice and beating the Cushing goalie with a wrist shot. For Nobles, Taylor Blake Blake made 15 saves for her tenth shutout as Nobles improved to 11-1-4 overall.
