Nobles finally got out of the gate quickly versus Groton. The slow start tendency was abated as the Bulldogs netted 5 first quarter markers. The much-improved offense had yet to make a huge impact at the advent of games. This was rectified as four players found the back of the net. Junior attackman Sean Shakespeare pocketed two of the four and added an assist. Junior A/M Alex Owen offered up a hat trick on the day while junior middie Jack Palmer continued his consistent ways adding two goals. Zach Ellison gobbled up 13 Groton shots.
