An Evening of Song
Music celebrating nature—including Randall Thompson’s setting of Robert Frost’s “Choose Something Like a Star,” Haydn’s “The Creation,” and Paul Winter’s “Canticle of Brother Sun,” and Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song”—filled Lawrence Auditorium with song on Dec. 11. Some 100 students presented the fall choral concert to an enthusiastic capacity crowd.

Kudos to Julia Weber '11, who will show her collection of 18 photographs at the Wellesley Public Library's Wakelin Room at a reception on January 6, 2011, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Julia's photography captures her personal experiences traveling to and promoting education in Kliptown, South Africa, From photos of young students tutoring in the late afternoon sun to Kliptown Youth Program's XO computer project, these pictures reveal a special place, dear to the entire Weber family's heart.
