Nobles Theatre Collective Presents Luigi Pirandello's Right You Are If You Think You Are

The Nobles Theatre Collective presented its fall production, Luigi Pirandello's Right You Are If You Think You Are, from October 29-November 1. One part social commentary, one part mystery, the story featured townspeople who nosily speculate about their new-to-town neighbors, and ultimately hatch an elaborate trap to unveil the truth.

Nobles to Host Bruins Alumni

Don’t miss the chance to see a team of players from the Nobles community—including Mark Spence, director of counseling, and Mike McHugh, director of buildings and grounds—take on the Boston Bruins Alumni Team on November 8, at 5 p.m. at the Omni Flood Rink at Nobles. Proceeds of the benefit hockey game will go to Achieve at Nobles, a tuition-free academic enrichment program serving Boston-area middle school-age children from low-income families.

On Thursday, September 11, the Foster Gallery hosted an opening of interdisciplinary artist Georgie Friedman’s “Into the Wind.” Through the creation of multimedia experiences, Friedman seeks to “reframe natural phenomena in ways that create new physical and psychological spaces for viewers to contemplate personal and cultural relationships to the elements.”

The Boston Globe recently named Lauren Dillon ’14 the 2014 New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Female Athlete of the Year. 

The award, which began in 2000, is given to a standout three-sport athlete who has demonstrated success in both the classroom and on the field or the court.

During the faculty and staff opening meeting, Head of School Bob Henderson ’76 presented Thanae Cooper, assistant to the dean of enrollment, with the 2014 Cora Hidalgo Holland award. The award commemorates Nobles parent Cora Hidalgo Holland who embodied a kindness and warmth to the entire Nobles community.
