TEST

Chicago

Students will spend a week in the heart of downtown Chicago, one of our nation's most dynamic metropolises. Gallery visits, museum trips, and conversations with local professional artists will serve as a means for contextualizing student perspectives on what they see, prompting them to think critically about broader social and economic issues. Other features of the trip include lakefront and architectural boat tours, sharing in the local food (such as the city's famed deep-dish pizza), and taking in either a Cubs game or a performance at one of Chicago's world-renowned comedy clubs. In addition, participants will collaborate on an art project with students from a Chicago partner school. This trip is slated for the summer of 2018 and is open to Class II, III and IV.. Artistic experience is not required; artistic interest, however, is. Hope you can join us!

Check back later this fall for information on this trip, including dates, cost, trip leaders, and trip and financial aid applications.
