Assembly at Nobles
Four mornings a week, before classes, Middle and Upper School students, faculty and staff come together for morning Assembly. Here we share the news of the day, make announcements, give recognition, exchange points of view, perform for one another and grow as a community. Regardless of who is asked, this activity is often mentioned as a favorite because of the unique dynamics of our community.
At Assembly, our shared passion for achievement takes center stage. Students working on independent studies are encouraged to present their ideas, projects, theories or outcomes to the entire Nobles community. Faculty members present their opinions on current issues, stirring lively debates. We walk out energized and eager to be challenged as we head off to class.
Assembly provides hundreds of opportunities for self and group expression. Artists have many occasions to perform, rather than only once at the end of the school year. At an early age, students gain confidence and build self-esteem, and overcome the fear of standing in front of a large group.
