TEST

Our hope is for every Nobles student to find an opportunity to serve a community in need and to discover, in their own way, how rewarding, impactful and meaningful service can be.

Creating Partnerships with Nonprofit Agencies Locally, Nationally, and Globally

Nobles strives to build and promote a culture of service.  Working together, Nobles students and teachers learn how to serve productively with partners in Greater Boston, across the country, and around the world in settings that are unfamiliar and challenging.
While learning how to solve problems as they emerge and being exposed to complex issues, Nobles students expand their view of themselves and the world while learning:

  • empathy
  • independence
  • teamwork
  • resilience
  • humility

Through service, Nobles students come to understand that through their work and commitment they make a positive difference in the lives of others and live out the Nobles mission of leadership for the public good.

In the 2015-16 school year:

  • More than 2/3 of graduating seniors exceeded the 80-hour service requirement during the course of their time at Nobles
  • Nobles students donated more than 10,000 service hours
  • Nobles students raised more than $55,000 in cash and in-kind contributions supporting partners locally, nationally and globally.

If you are doing service outside of Nobles:

Download the evaluation form which must be filled out to receive credit for all independent service. The form needs to be completed by the person supervising you during your service work. Please return the form within four weeks of completing your service.  The form may be mailed, emailed or hand-delivered to the service office (Performing Arts 216).
