South Africa: Class I, II, III

Nobles has a long-standing relationship with the country of South Africa, and numerous trips have visited the country over the last ten years. This trip, lasting two weeks, will continue to build upon existing service partnerships in the Western and Eastern Cape provinces and allow ample opportunity to sample what many believe is one of the most beautiful parts of southern Africa.

The trip will have three distinct parts:
  • 4 days: We will arrive in Cape Town, explore this incredible city and its surrounding environment, and spend time with RV United, a girls soccer club based in Khayelitsha township.
  • 6 days: Next, we will travel east along the coastline to Plettenberg Bay to work with Willing Workers in South Africa, a local NGO.  We will be working for a week repairing a home in Kurland township.
  • 2 days: Finally, will travel to Addo Elephant Park for safari activities on the roads and rivers of one of South Africa's most famous national parks.

Service work on this trip will count towards the Nobles Community Service requirement.

**This trip will not run during the 2017-18 school year.
