"The people I met at the Mountain School and the experiences we shared have taught me about what it means to truly take care of the environment, those around me, and myself."

– Elena, Grade 11

Study Away

Nobles encourages students to take advantage of alternative education programs and believes they represent an important component in the educational development of our students. Each year, 10 to 15 Nobles students (typically in their Class II/Junior year) study off-campus for a year or a semester. Nobles students have participated in quality academic and experiential educational programs around the country and the world including CityTerm, High Mountain Institute, School Year Abroad, The Island School, NuVu, Maine Coast Semester at Chewonki, The Alzar School, The School for Ethics and Global Leadership, The Mountain School, African Leadership Academy's Catalyst Term and King's Academy Arabic Year.

For students and parents interested in the study away process, click here for FAQs and a typical application timeline, or contact Laura Yamartino.
