A Day at Upward Bound
Curriculum
Topics in math, science, English, history, foreign language and computer science provide the core curriculum of MSUB. Students are assigned to classes based on their grade in school and their individual level of competency. At the end of the summer, students receive a transcript consisting of a letter grade and a written evaluation in each class. In addition, a four-day tour of colleges in the Northeast region is provided each summer.
Activities
Activities include swimming, group sports and enrichment workshops. Weekly excursions are also built into a rich and varied experience. These may include a Red Sox game, harbor tour, museum visit, college tour, day at the shore, movies, dinner out or ordered in, dancing and much, much more.
