Applying to Nobles

We want students to thrive at Nobles. Strong academic performance is essential, and we are also interested in hearing about your interests and activities outside the classroom. What do you care about? What would you like to explore? What can you share with others? How can you make a difference?

We seek students who are eager to join our community and contribute their energy and talents to whatever they pursue. Our aim is to build a community that represents excellence, curiosity and diversity, equity and inclusion in the broadest sense.

HOW TO APPLY

1

Create an application account

Once you have decided that Nobles may be a good fit, the next step is to create an account in Ravenna, our online application management system. Please create a student profile and be sure to use an email address that you will have access to throughout the entire admission process. Through Ravenna, families can manage their applications, complete required forms, request teacher evaluations and school transcripts, register for events and view decision notification.

2

Schedule an interview or group activity session and go on a tour

In your Ravenna account, click “APPLY” for instructions on scheduling your interview or group activity session.

The interview is a required part of the admission process for applicants to our upper school and will serve as an opportunity for you to learn more about Nobles as we get to know you and your interests. Applicants to our middle school are required to participate in a group activity session in lieu of an interview. We encourage you to schedule your visit to campus as soon as possible.

3

Complete forms in the online application

Through your Ravenna account, you can fill out and submit all required forms starting with the core application. Applicants should then complete the student statement on their own; we are eager to learn about who you are and what makes you unique. The extracurricular activities form will give us a sense of how you spend your time outside of the classroom. The parent statement allows us to hear about the applicant from the parent/guardian perspective. You will also be able to send requests within Ravenna for teacher recommendations and school reports. We request that all records come directly from your student’s school.

4

Complete standardized testing

For Middle School Applicants

For middle school applicants, we accept scores for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Our school code for the ISEE is 220680. Test results must be sent to Nobles directly from ISEE.

To register for the ISEE, visit their website.

For Upper School Applicants

For upper school students, we accept the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Our school code for the SSAT is 5368. Test results must be sent to Nobles directly from SSAT.

To register for the SSAT, visit their website.

5

Complete your application

Your application and all related documents must be submitted by January 15, 2024 through your Ravenna account. Follow the steps to submit required forms and pay the non-refundable application fee ($60 for domestic applicants and $100 for international applicants).  Nobles will provide fee waivers to qualifying families, which can be obtained by contacting our office at admission@nobles.edu. Thank you for your interest in Nobles! We look forward to getting to know you during the admission process.
