A wide array of visual and performing arts lets students explore creative ways to solve new problems, learning a lot about themselves and their abilities as they go. Pursuing the arts at Nobles is as intellectually intense and joyful as every other area of learning. Middle school introduces students to a range of media and techniques. Upper school courses, from painting to playwriting, music theory to digital photography, let artists dive deeper into the disciplines that inspire them.
Nobles encourages students to share their talents—whether singing at a middle school coffeehouse or on an international chamber music tour, exhibiting ceramics in the Foster Gallery, or experimenting with character development in improv class. Every day brings with it a chance to try something new, to connect with others, and to find new avenues of expression.
