Nobles Celebrates 159th Graduation

With immense pride, we celebrate the achievements of the 136 graduates from the Class of 2025, who were recognized during the Noble and Greenough School graduation ceremony on May 30.

School Life Council Co-Presidents Emma Sawatzky and Nate Madden reflected on the deep impact of the Nobles experience and the ideals that shaped their class. Elected Class I speakers Oliver Burstein and Morgan Gibson spoke about the importance of carrying a sense of humor, levity, and shared joy into the future and embracing life as a series of chapters rather than a finished story. Head of School Cathy Hall encouraged the graduates to live lives rooted in principles, with their core values serving as their compass. She encouraged them to listen with curiosity, act with kindness, and embrace playfulness as a source of joy, creativity, and connection.

Dr. Hall also presented the Vernon L. Greene Award for Faculty Excellence to Meghan Glenn, classics faculty member.

Chosen by the Class of 2025 to deliver the faculty address, Athletic Director Alex Gallagher ’90 urged the graduates to live lives grounded in respect, love, unity, and lasting impact. “This class has had an enormous impact on those of us gathered here today,” said Gallagher, “but imagine the impact that the 136 members of this class will have in the years to come? Your courage to lead and desire to do good will send an immeasurable wave throughout society. We are proud of you today. Make us even prouder in 10 years, 20 years, and 50 years. That will be the true legacy of the Class of 2025.”
