Countless Nobles graduates have chosen paths that embody Nobles’ mission and values. Through careers that fuel their curiosity and allow them to live lives dedicated to doing good, they are paving the way for future generations of Nobles graduates, inspiring them to lead with respect and generosity, to foster belonging, and to embrace a spirit of playfulness.
Three female graduates from across the decades returned to campus to kick off the celebration of 50 years of women at Nobles. Rachel Kennedy ’17, Olivia Boger ’99, and Eli Inghram ’76 spoke about how their Nobles experience—and the faculty and students who helped shape that experience—influenced the women they have become.
In her introduction of the three graduates, Head of School Cathy Hall said, “Remember how important it is to tell our stories, but also to listen to them and to learn from them.”
So, that’s just a little bit about my experience at Nobles and what it was like when I was here. It was a place where vulnerability was valued, and students, teachers, and staff alike were going to teach you how to be nice when it’s hard.

What I want to reflect to you about what I felt in the ’90s and what I still feel today in 2025 is that you actually might look back and realize it’s the adults that you bring with you and that want to stay with you for the rest of your life, it is, in fact, the most valuable thing about your education.

My point in telling these stories is to assure you you are not invisible. You are being seen—likely in ways that are not even very obvious. I want you to be open to this, be aware of it, so that the aperture of your self-awareness expands, because this time at Nobles will not be replicated in your life. It is a one-way ride to your future.
