Athletic directors in the Independent School League (ISLA) recently voted to include girls volleyball as an official league sport, and Nobles is excited to announce our inaugural varsity season in the Fall of 2013! In an Assembly announcement on Wed., Feb. 13, Nobles Athletic Director Alex Gallagher '90 said that, over the past several years, he has fielded proposals for a team from eager students and faculty alike. He is excited that Nobles is finally able to offer the sport, one that continues to grow in popularity and competitiveness at both the high school and college level. Coaching the new squad, offered to Upper School girls, will be Middle School Dean and math teacher Colette Finley and College Counselor Kimya Charles, both of whom have played competitively and recreationally since middle school.
