If you gave middle school students $20,000 and 30 days to travel to anywhere in the world, where would they go? On April 29, Class VI students presented their ’Round the World (RTW) projects to members of the community. Ecuador, Portugal, China, South Africa, Lebanon and England are a few of the countries they visited. The month-long multidisciplinary project charged students to build a comprehensive global journey—traveling up to six countries—complete with a passport, map, budget, itinerary, photos, journal entries, cultural artifacts and endangered species report.
