The Nobles community has been watching in awe as the addition to the Castle changes the campus skyline. The exterior of the new wing is complete and blends perfectly with the landscape of campus and architecture of the original building. This spring, construction moves to the interior of the kitchen and dining spaces. The school has turned the entire building over to Shawmut Construction, which will allow the project to remain on time and on budget.
From March break through the end of the school year, the school will serve all meals in the Omni Rink. The first tennis court in the Omni has become a food service and dining area, separate from the other three courts.
After the first day of food service in the Omni, the new set-up is already garnering good reviews. "I liked it. There's so much more space down there, and the food was just as good," says English teacher Peter Raymond.
The school has added safety measures to ensure that community members can safely travel up and down the hill for meals. Picnic tables outside the Omni will add casual gathering space; and the administration will work with student leadership and FLIK, the school’s food service provider, to introduce novel dining options and activities to celebrate meals in the Omni.
Thank you for your support during the final stages of the Castle Project.
