Thanks to all of our graduates who voted in the 2023 Trustee election. We had a record number of votes!

Congratulations to Abbeygale Anderson ’14 who was elected as the 2023 Graduate Trustee.

Abbeygale (Abbey) Anderson is the Founder of Cross Impact Capital, an investment firm with the mandate of expanding contemporary definitions of impact investing through a focused lens on underrepresented founders and/or category-redefining businesses that seek to address some of the largest disparities among marginalized communities. She is an Investor-in-Residence at Techstars and a member of the Screening Committee for Google for Startups. Previously, she was a financial-services-focused investment banker and a private equity investor.

Outside of work, Abbey served as a Board Member for the Synergist Network, a national organization dedicated to providing women the infrastructure, network, and business acumen critical for long-term success. She also serves as a mentor for Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) Roxbury, a nonprofit organization that partners with communities nationwide to help under-represented individuals successfully start and grow a business.

While at Nobles, Abbey served as a class and dorm prefect. She also co-founded the Students for Socioeconomic Aware Club and was a co-leader for Sister to Sister. Though Abbey initially thought “crew” was a theater course, Abbey went to tryouts anyway and eventually became a varsity rower. She spoke at the class of 2014’s graduation.

Since graduation, Abbey has stayed close to the Nobles community. She participates in reunions, was a panelist for the Women of Nobles Finance event in 2022, and gave the keynote address at the Freeman Legacy Dinner.

Abbey graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in Political Science and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She splits her time between Boston and Harlem where she lives with her college sweetheart and dog.
