On Sunday, Sept. 8, more than 150 runners including cross country teams from Nobles, Brooks, Rivers, Dana Hall and Berwick Academy joined together for the third annual Michele Dufault ’07 5K Memorial Run/Walk. Dufault died in 2011 while working in the machine shop at Yale University.
The event raised about $2,000. Proceeds will go to this year’s charity of choice, Girls on the Run, chosen by Nobles’ cross country captains. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit character development and experiential learning program for girls ages 8 to 12 years old. The organization helps build confidence and leadership through running.
