On May 4, Nobles launched the #DawgsOnAMission campaign to “Support Our Mission to Share Our Mission.” This unique effort involved raising awareness and support for both the Annual Nobles Fund (ANF), the school’s most important fundraising priority, as well as Nobles’ longstanding community partner, Three Squares New England, which serves food pantries across the region. An anonymous donor from within the Nobles community pledged to make a $30 gift to Three Squares New England for each and every gift made to the ANF over the course of a five-day period.

The results of the campaign were nothing short of inspiring. The entire Nobles community—families, graduates and friends—made more than 500 gifts to the ANF, resulting in a maximum $15,000 donation to Three Squares New England. Statewide, food insecurity has risen from 9 percent to 38 percent over the last several weeks, making these funds all the more vital to this valued partner.

Kati Sigel, executive director of Three Squares New England, said, “The Covid-19 pandemic has left hundreds of thousands of families and individuals struggling to put food on the table. The funds raised through the Annual Nobles Fund campaign will help ensure that those most vulnerable in the Greater Boston area receive the nutrition and services they deserve. Three Squares New England could not be more grateful for this gift.”

Nobles is also exceedingly grateful to everyone who stepped up on behalf of the school and truly personified the school’s mission through their gifts of support. “Our mission of leadership for the public good and service to others guided us as we introduced this campaign to the greater Nobles community,” said Allie Trainor, director of the Annual Nobles Fund. “Thank you to everyone who participated and helped to ‘Support our Mission to Share our Mission.’ We are grateful for your support of the Annual Nobles Fund, as well as your willingness to provide for our friends at Three Squares New England.” This overwhelming response reiterates Nobles’ ongoing commitment to serving others and enhancing our community connections. It is through strengthening these meaningful relationships that we will become an even stronger and more impactful community of leaders.

Currently, there has never been a more critical time to support the ANF. This is the effort that will help the school offset the financial impact this global pandemic is having on our people and programs. Each and every gift matters more than ever before as we navigate this new economic landscape. To make your gift to the ANF, please visit www.nobles.edu/giveonline. Thank you, as always, for your consideration and support!
