The fall 2025 arts season at Nobles was marked by dynamic performances in music, theater, and dance that showcased the remarkable creativity, talent, and teamwork of our community’s performing artists.
A special concert, Full Circle: Songs of Belonging and Reflection, celebrated the career of longtime music faculty and former director of music, Michael Turner, who is retiring this year after 37 years at Nobles. Graduates, faculty, staff, and current students performed songs by Billy Joel, Paul Simon, James Taylor, and others in honor of Turner’s decades of dedication to music at Nobles.
The performance of Antigone, the fall mainstage production, featured the largest Nobles Theatre Collective cast in recent years, delivering a dramatic modern interpretation of the Greek tragedy. Additionally, NTC presented The Courtroom, by Arian Moayed, in its first-ever staged reading, featuring an all-employee cast.
The Nobles Dance Show featured performances with an impressive range of styles and themes, choreographed by immensely talented students, faculty, and guest artists in a showcase full of color, rhythm, and movement.
To cap off the semester, the music department hosted a full series of concerts, including performances by instrumental, choral, jazz, and contemporary ensembles. The symphony orchestra featured a cello solo by Emma Edgar ’26, while the Choral Concert concluded with “Corner of the Sky” from Pippin, paying tribute to Turner’s final appearance on the choral podium. The jazz, blues, and guitar ensembles wrapped up the season with an eclectic mix of standards, R&B, and Cuban-inspired pieces.
Collectively, the fall concerts and productions celebrated the talent, dedication, imagination, and shared spirit of Nobles’ performing artists.
