On November 19 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Nobles will host the Student Athletes 4 Change Challenge to raise funds for at-risk student athletes in grades 3–8.
Nobles basketball players, in co-ed teams of five, will compete against Park School, Rivers and Thayer in an online math challenge.
The funds raised through the competition will support the Scholastic Basketball League (SBL) as it uses a holistic approach to motivate young student athletes to "be competitive leaders in the class, on the court and in their communities."
The challenge was made possible by a partnership between Student Athletes Rising and the Rodman Ride for Kids. The students will compete through IgradeEdu online competitive learning.
